2. Information about releasing split/full albums through our label
After lying dormant for nearly two years, the flames have started rising again. Bands and fans alike keep asking the same question: “Will there be another Sounds of Hell compilation?”
The answer is finally yes. We’re resurrecting the beast.
Last year we attempted a revival, but the response was lukewarm. This year, the demand has only grown louder. 2026 will be our year! So read everything carefully, and if you want in, reach out without hesitation.
OUR PROMOTION CAMPAIGN
When a new Sounds of Hell compilation, or a full album on vinyl or cd is unleashed, we go all in:
· A press release to more than 1500 media worldwide contacts announcing the new edition
· A promo mail to the same worldwide media, including all info + download link for reviews
· Physical CDs sent to selected reviewers
· Social media promotion on our Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok channels
· Mailing to our subscribers
· Promotion on our website
· Advertising in Belgian leading metal magazine Rock Tribune
· Our releases are distributed to physical stores in Belgium. Stores will get posters to announce the release
If you know a journalist who must receive a copy, send us their details and we’ll handle the rest.
HOW IT WORKS
CD SERIES
· 1000 copies
· Digipack
· Full‑color sleeve
· Full‑color 8 page booklet
We “sell” space on the CD per minute. Price per minute: €30 (excl. VAT) For every purchased minute, your band receives 10 CDs. Every started minute counts as a full minute. The running order of the bands on the cd is random.
Release date: as soon as the CD is full. You will only receive the invoice once enough bands have signed up.

The band receives 40 CDs to distribute. Previous editions were sold, but sales have slowed and that defeats the purpose. This series exists to promote bands, not gather dust.
There is no longer an A5 booklet. Instead, we include an 8‑page booklet with all band info.
What we need from you:
· WAV file of your chosen track (via WeTransfer or similar)
· Band photo
· Band logo (PNG/JPG, transparent background)
· Short English bio
For invoicing & shipping:
We need one contact person with the following details:
· Band name
· Track title
· Track length
· Contact name
· Address
· Phone number
· VAT number (if applicable)
The invoice address is also the shipping address. Shipping costs will be calculated..
VINYL SERIES
Same concept — but vinyl is a different beast.
· 500 copies
· Black vinyl
· Full‑color sleeve
· Full‑color inner sleeve
Price per minute: €70 (excl. VAT)

The band receives 10 LPs per purchased minute. Sales price is fixed at €20, meaning €800 total revenue in this example.

SOUNDS OF HELL RECORDS
We receive countless requests from bands wanting to release music through our label. We want to support as many as possible, but releasing every album is simply impossible.
So we created a system that allows bands to release music professionally, affordably, and with full promotional support.
Our share of the CDs/LPs goes into Benelux distribution and is sold through our website.
THE VINYL SERIES
FULL ALBUMS & SPLITS
Concept
· Release split LPs or full LPs
· 500 copies
· Black vinyl
· Full‑color labels
· Full‑color sleeve (one full side per band for splits)
· Printed inner sleeve (tracklist, bio, etc.)

· WAV files
· Recent band photo
· Logo (transparent background)
· Bio + discography
· Artwork (our designer formats it correctly)
· Online links
Advantages
· Affordable way to release physical music
· Vinyl remains a highly desired format
· Extra merch table income
· Strong promotional push
How it works
We “sell” one side of the LP — max 19:30 minutes. (Bands may purchase both sides.)
You receive 100 LPs, shipping costs will be calculated. Sales price is fixed at €25. Your music remains your property.
We match genres carefully — no black metal paired with hair metal. You may also apply together with another band.
Delivery time depends on the pressing plant. A simple standard contract is provided.
Costs & Earnings
· Cost per LP side: €899 + 21% VAT (€1087.79)
· Selling all 100 LPs at €25 = €2500 revenue
· Buying both sides doubles everything
Conditions
· Participation is confirmed only after invoice payment
· Respect all deadlines
· Promote the release on your social media
· You are responsible for your audio
· Work closely with our designer to finalize artwork

How it works
Up to 74 minutes of music Band receives 250 CDs, shipping costs will be calculated. Recommended sales price: €10 Music remains your property
Delivery time: 3–4 weeks depending on factory Standard contract included
Costs & Earnings
· Cost for 300 CDs: €900 + 21% VAT (€1089)
· Selling 250 CDs at €10 = €2500 revenue
Conditions
· Participation confirmed only after invoice payment
· Respect deadlines
· Promote the release on social media
· You are responsible for audio
· Work closely with our designer for artwork
