Cancelled

Some sad news to announce. We are forced to cancel this weekend's EXCOMMUNICATION NIGHT at Hell Diest due to different reasons. This is the story.

Because of low presales I suggested to the booking agent to change our deal to a doordeal, where every paid entrance euro would go to the bands playing that night. This way the show could go on, with a minimum of loosing money.

IN HELL band could not take this deal, as (one of the) members lives too far away to cover travel costs, wich is totally understandable. The other bands where in, So 3 bands are left, wich is good.

This week we got the devastating news from Iconoclasm , who's drummer suffers a severe eardamage since their last gig. His doctor does not allow him to play to protect his ears. We wish him all the best and soon recovery! Two bands left, so the search for an extra band began.

Today we received the news that one of the members of Mercyless has health issues, and cannot play this weekend.

That leaves one band, Putrid Offal

Needles to say we are getting desperate, and in this short time we are not able to replace the bands by other equal bands. So we decided to cancel this event, wich is very much against our nature, but this is beyond everybodies control.

We would like to thank Memento Mori - Booking & Management for their relentless effort, but sometimes it just is what it is...

We hope to do (part of) this show in 2023, time will tell.

Our apologies to the tickets holders, we will pay the tickets back next week. Also our apologies to the people who looked forward to this show.

We hate today's cancel culture, but in this situation, no one is to blame.
